Making Christmas cookies is so much fun. I don't even mind the mess.

Keiko Komanich (Sp?)
Our little gymnast had her "Parent Show" yesterday. She did great. Here she is with her coach, Carlos, who was an olympian before starting his coaching career.

Jack's Hockey Smile
Now his smile really looks like an authentic hockey smile. Don't worry, it wasn't an accident, just nature.

Trick or Treating
It was a very warm Halloween, but the girls still wanted to wear their "cool weather" costumes. I am glad because they looked so cute. Jack is dressed as Obi Wan Kenobi from Star Wars. He went trick-or-treating with his friend Jonathan who was dressed up as Anakin Skywalker. The piece of the red light saber in the photo is our next door neighbor. He was Darth Vader. This Star Wars thing is outta control.

School Pictures

They don't look very smiley, but they are still cute. The next time Jack has his picture taken for school, he is going to be missing some front teeth. They are so loose already! He's been wiggling them with his tongue... eeeew!

Big Orange Pumpkin Farm
We visited a pumkin farm in Celina, TX to pick out our pumpkins. We ended up with 4 of them (3 Big-uns and 1 Midori-sized one). We also fed the animals. The kids had a great time.

Dance Recital at Tom Thumb

For those of you who don't know, Tom Thumb is our grocery store. She wore her tu-tu and danced to the ecclectic "grocery" music. Their fall display made a nice backdrop too.

Sleeping Cow?
Midori just cracks us up! We got back late from a hockey practice and gave the kids their baths. Jack and Keiko went to bed and Midori insisted on wearing her cow costume and a pair of bright green socks. As soon as she had it on she disappeared. Several minutes later I hear from the bedroom "Kelly, come here quick!". I jumped up and ran down there as fast as I could. I just had to grab the camera and take some shots to share with you.

Balloon Festival

This one we took at night. We followed the balloon across town in the car and recruited Jack's best friend Jonathan and his dad too. The kids helped take this balloon down after it landed. It was really fun!

At the playground

Just a day at the park. The weather was nice and the kids had fun. Jack even helped push Midori on the swing.... not OFF the swing.

Playing With Your Food

OK, sometimes it doesn't hurt. The kids were feeling a little playful at dinner time and made animal faces out of their food. Jack's is a likeness of Dudley. Keiko's looks like a bunny rabbit, but she said it was a cat. The fork is the cat's mouth.
