Unbraided

Keiko is beautiful either way, but her hair was just glowing tonight after I unbraided it so I had Dan take some great pics. Here are just a few. As with any of the pictures on this blog, you can click on them to get an enlarged view.

Jack's Goal

Jack had a goal in the first few minutes of his game on Friday. He had camp earlier that day and then we went to a public pool and swam for several hours and got stung by a wasp so I wasn't sure how he was going to perform, but that goal just pumped him up so much that he was on a goal scoring high for the rest of the game. The game ended with a win 5-3. His stats are posted on the Dr. Pepper website:

Keiko's Braids

These are Keiko's braids. She has had them in for close to a week so they've gotten a little messy, but I wanted to take a photo before they were completely messed up. She swims and does gymnastics (headstands don't help), but they've held up pretty good so far. I may touch them up this weekend.

Mac down... send help

Yes, it is true. Our Mac is down for the 2nd time. I think this could be the big one. However, we are in better shape than the last time since I have a working laptop (a windows based one. I'm using it right now), and of course, the back up that we did the last time that our Mac crashed. It always takes an emergency for us to learn these important lessons.... For goodness sakes, back up your children's photos.

I thought I would take this time to show all of you some wonderful treasures we were able to recover the last time. The first one is Jack (duh), the second one is of Keiko's first Halloween and the third is of course.... our third, Mido-Mido-Lemon-Squeedo, or as we call her "Squeeds".

So Midori is quite a little roller skater as we discovered at a roller rink birthday party this weekend. She just had a ball! We also discovered that Jack has the potential to be a dietitian when we overheard him telling his friend, "At our house we eat first THEN we drink because we don't want to fill up on empty calories." Hmmm. He takes his diet very seriously.

The Rain

So it rains every day in Plano and we are still in the middle of a level 3 drought?!? Weird, huh? We've been swimming in the pool between showers.
