For those of you who don't know, Tom Thumb is our grocery store. She wore her tu-tu and danced to the ecclectic "grocery" music. Their fall display made a nice backdrop too.
Midori just cracks us up! We got back late from a hockey practice and gave the kids their baths. Jack and Keiko went to bed and Midori insisted on wearing her cow costume and a pair of bright green socks. As soon as she had it on she disappeared. Several minutes later I hear from the bedroom "Kelly, come here quick!". I jumped up and ran down there as fast as I could. I just had to grab the camera and take some shots to share with you.
This one we took at night. We followed the balloon across town in the car and recruited Jack's best friend Jonathan and his dad too. The kids helped take this balloon down after it landed. It was really fun!
OK, sometimes it doesn't hurt. The kids were feeling a little playful at dinner time and made animal faces out of their food. Jack's is a likeness of Dudley. Keiko's looks like a bunny rabbit, but she said it was a cat. The fork is the cat's mouth.
The first day of school wasn't so bad. I mean after all the whining and crying ... Dan just scooped me up off the floor with a shovel and threw me back in the car.
For those of you who don't know. Mike is our oldest nephew. Dan's sister Judy's son. He is also Jack's godfather.
