Wolves Mite Hockey

Ballet and Tap

Midori took her first Ballet and Tap class this Monday and boy, she loves to dance... at home. But not so much in class.
She just stood and watched the other students do everything.
When the teacher asked her if she wanted to join in, she said "I don't want to."
When the teacher asked her if she wanted help she said "That's OK"
She just started warming up when the class ended.
I was able to get a few pictures of her protesting walking on her toes.

Gym and Swim

I took Midori to her first Gym and Swim class. She really enjoyed the Gym part of it (they start out playing games and doing a craft). But when it came to the swimming part she was NOT happy.

The teacher held her the whole time.



Then, when we were leaving she wanted to go back to the pool and swim some more.

Easter Egg Hunt

I know this is out of order, but I was downloading pictures off of my phone and realized that I hadn't posted these from a week before Easter.

Easter Baskets

The Easter Bunny visited our house while we were at church!

Keiko said, "The black jellybeans taste like bunny poop!"


Midori likes the pink eggs, but she really REALLY liked the fake grass!

This is how Midori enjoyed this wonderful Texas weather.

Rasor Elementary Open House

First we went to the Kindergarden area and met Mrs. Koch, Keiko's teacher.



Keiko showed us some of her work and explained some of what she is learning.



Next she showed us her "Bins". She is in "Red Bins". The teacher divides the class into 3 groups (or Bins) for different activities. There was a list of the activities so we could get a glimpse of her Kindergarden day.

Jack is explaining his work and the things that they talk about in class. As you can see, he is really enjoying second grade.

Just Goofing Around

The weather was bad, the snow melted and the kids were just goofy. They decided to just make crazy poses for the camera. Even Dudley got into the act.

My Other Babies

A couple of my pots just looked really pretty today. I thought I'd share them with you.

Snow in Plano

Can you believe it?!? I just planted tulips this past weekend in 70 degree weather and now... snow. Good grief!

Big Hit on Jack

I'm pretty sure that Jack is the only mite this season who got body checked (that was the call). The kid was literally twice his size, but he popped right back up. He just can't be kept down.
