Finally a breakthrough!!!

Sorry about the quality of the pictures. These are off of my cell phone and it was pretty dark in the pool area because of the weather.

Midori is actually enjoying learing to swim.

Keiko's A Scientist?

I volunteeered in the science lab at school. Keiko was so cute in her safety goggles. I just had to take a few pictures.

Celebration Park

Keiko and Midori had fun at Celebration Park in Allen. They rode these horses and motorcycles over and over. They kept getting off of them and running to a different one every few minutes. It was really cute.

Midori Smiling in Swim Class

It is miracle that she is smiling in swim class. Normally she is terrified and has a white knuckle death grip on the teacher. This was the last class of the session, but I signed her up a second time to keep the momentum going.

Midori at Swim and Gym

She likes the gym part

... but not the swim part as much.

Cake Time!

Jack had a Dallas Stars ice cream cake.

Here they are goofing off. Midori likes to cross her eyes when she is making funny faces.

Each of the kids got a goody bag. In this case it was more like a goody box, but they didn't mind.

Midori's goody box had bubbles and balloons with a hand pump, window clings, a dinasaur egg and a kick board.

Jack Turns 8!!!

Yes, I can hardly believe it. Our little boy is 8 years old. We will be celebrating with cake on Sunday, but since it was Jack's real birthday on Wednesday we let him open one of his gifts. The Tornado is a minor league hockey team that practices close to where we live.
