Donuts with Dads

This morning Moms and Dads were invited to Midori's preschool for donuts. Midori showed off some of her moves in the gym, and then her classroom.

Jack Hangin' with the Stars

Jack went with Dan to the Stars practice this morning. He stayed afterwards to get his hat signed and to meet the players. Many players stopped to talk with him and have their photos taken. Here are a few of the players.

Balloon Landing

We got into the car and drove down to the landing site. Here there are two balloons in close proximity. The balloon that you see landing here actually crashed through the top of some trees nearby during its rapid decent. You can see the "catchers" stopping the basket as it lands.

Keiko's Litte Friend

Keiko found a new friend at the balloon landing. It was a little cricket. She talked and talked and talked to it, and even posed together for some pictures before she had to say "Goodbye".

The Girl's Got Style

Christie's twin girls gave Midori their dress up clothes. She has been wearing a different dress to school everyday. Here is "Barbie Island Princess Midori" earlier this week.

Sliding

I took the kids to Jump Town for a birthday party over the weekend. We seem to go to many birthday parties since we don't throw parties for our own children. They had a great time. Here are some short video clips. The quality isn't great since they came off of my cell phone, but you can see their faces when they are getting off of the slides. This first one I had the phone tilted sideways. I figured it out for the rest of them.

More from the Tournament

These are pictures from the final game against the Dallas Stars Select team. The Aces won by double digits. The coach decided to play Jack back at defense. It was a fun game and a fun tournament.
The first two pictures are from the warm up which is why there are so many pucks on the ice.
