Midori decided she wanted me to take her picture. She made me do her hair in "Leah Buns" and then she wanted some pictures of her in hair twists too. Then she sat on the stairs and had a great time posing. She's a little diva.

Finally have TV
This was one of the last of the big items on my "move-in" list. There is a HUGE mechanical TV mount hidden behind this screen.
The clothes dryer shows up on Monday. I've got my priorities straight. TV first, then laundry.

School Concert
Tonight Jack and Keiko had their music concert at their school. This was their first week of school, so they didn't have as much time to practice as the other kids. Keiko brought the words home so she could practice after school.
I was a little farther back for Keiko's portion, so the pics weren't great, but you can see she has the little blue and brown striped dress between the two towering girls in pink. And, yes, they ARE all 2nd graders in this group.
Midori is catching a little snooze between performances. It was a long night for this little girl, but she hung in there.

Jack did well considering he didn't know most of the songs before this week. He tried and he looked like he knew what he was doing most of the time.

Last Week in Texas
Well, it's been a crazy couple of weeks. I spent the majority of last week in the hospital with stomach problems. I'm pretty much recovered but I'm on a liquid diet which is working to keep the pain away, but unfortunately takes most of my energy away as well. Still, I was able to do a great deal of packing this week and managed to plant some flowers out front. The real estate agent thought the front of the house needed some color. While I agree with that, our house is the only house on our block with ANY color right now. Hey, if it sells the house than I'm all for it.
I can't even see the flowers!
