Jack's Birthday Surprise
So we spent the morning dying eggs and then we went to Hockey Giant and bought him a new hockey stick. Then we got home and Aunt Judy came over and brought GIFTS! AND ...Mike, Ania, Matt, Andy, Katie and little Tommy. AND pizza AND a Dairy Queen ice cream cake. Jack was so surprised!

Yes, Happy birthday to Jack. That must have been a big surprise to Jack and all of you. Judy and the family have saved this day very quietly, now you see a surprise is the one comes most unexpectedly. By the way, has my card arrived in time for Jack's birthday?

Yes, it has arrived. He hasn't opened it yet. We're going to have our traditional Red Robin birthday when Dan gets back and he'll open your card and the rest of his gifts then.
