Lakeville South Sweeps Red Wing Tournament

This weekend, Jack played a tournament in Red Wing, MN. They won both games yesterday and the championship game this afternoon. This was the last tournament of the season.

Midori's Balloon

When we walked into TAGS Gymnastics today, we were greeted with "Happy Birthday, Midori". They remembered her birthday and even gave her a balloon. She also got a ribbon for her hard work in class. Way to go, Mido!

Still Snowing

The snow here in Minnesota is pretty impressive. Dan plowed the driveway today and the edges on either side are so high! Keiko is 49" tall.

We are in the middle of a winter blizzard here. I'm glad we celebrated yesterday because we are stuck indoors today. Midori of course wanted an ice cream cake for her birthday. Doesn't matter if it is cold outside, she is always in the mood for ice cream. Who isn't?

Celebrating Midori's 6th Birthday at Red Robin

Midori's birthday is this coming Tuesday, but we decided to celebrate her birthday today! As is our family tradition, we went to Red Robin for lunch. I am sure that if you looked at the older posts on this blog, you will find many, MANY pictures of us at Red Robin. Thank goodness they have one here in Minnesota.

Midori Moves Up in Gymnastics

Midori is officially an Advanced Beginner now. Here she is with her certificate. She was being so goofy that day. I love it!

Jack at the Lakeville Varsity Game

Jack got to skate out with the varsity team for their warm-ups and for the national anthem. They introduced him over the speakers. It was really fun.
He is the 5th from the left in these photos. I think there was a smudge on the glass blurring his face out, but I didn't have my good camera to take the pics. These are off of my phone.

Ski Bunny

Today at Buck Hill the temperature was 1 deg F. Keiko wanted to go skiing, but the other kids decided to sit it out. It appears that most of Minnesota also decided to sit out. As you can see, Keiko pretty much had the slopes to herself... and me too.

Warroad Minnesota

We lost the first 2 games in Warroad, MN but won the last two. The whole team played great! They played a very strong and aggressive style hockey.
