Aunt Kanna created a monster... a blue monster!  A pink monster was spotted as well, but it turns out that that variety is camera shy.

Christmas Day

We woke up early for mass at St. John the Baptist Church.  We were chosen to bring up the gifts!  Midori carried the big basket all by herself!

Last Zoo Trip Before the Snow

These pictures were from last month.  We took one last trip to the zoo before the snow.  The kids love the zoo and so do I.  They goofed around with these statues.  Midori wasn't really upset, she was just playing around and making funny faces.

We received a box of gifts from Aunt Kanna.  She filled the bottom of our tree.  The girls put the presents under the tree and then decided to play with the box.  Keiko did the cutting and they both did the coloring.

Keiko is number 2 in purple.  She is such a little go getter.  I can't believe I didn't capture one of her goals.  I'll try to get one next season.

End of Season - Lasers

Keiko's team came in second overall in the tournament.  They only lost one game by one goal, but the girls were all good sports and happy to receive their trophies.

I didn't take too many pictures because it was raining.  I took video with Keiko's little waterproof cam, but I couldn't upload them because they are too large.  I'll try to mess with them this weekend to see if I can clip the good parts to share.

Soccer Girls

 I realize that soccer pictures have been dominating the blog lately.  But these were just too darn cute to leave out.  Only 2 more weeks of this season and then I'll be able to post different things.

Her very first year of soccer and her very first picture day.  She came prepared with a cute smile and no teeth.

Green Apples Tie Again

The Green Apples are on a tying streak.  We were missing a few players today, so there were only 2 substitutes.  Needless to say, our girls got tired, but it didn't show.  Midori flinched quite a few times, but can you blame her?  She has the prettiest little face.

Lavender Lasers Beat the Blues

Although they look like they are wearing the same colors, it is actually Keiko's team in lavender and the other team in light blue.  The light blue team has not lost in 2 seasons, but were beaten today by the Lavender Lasers 3-2.  It was a great effort from everyone.  We were missing one of our best players, but did not get discouraged.  They all played hard and surprised the opposing coach.  He just couldn't believe it.  He had to ask Dan if it actually happened.

Keiko scored the very first goal of the season with a beautiful pop-up right over the goalie.  She has been working on her footwork and accuracy with her very demanding coach.
