Snow Day!!!

Tuesday, the kids got to stay home from school because of the weather (11 inches of snow). I'm told that this is the first "snow day" for their school district in about 6 years. They really enjoyed the light and fluffy stuff. They shoveled it, threw it and then built it into a huge, HUGE fort. It was still snowing so I didn't bring my camera outside. These photos were taken through a glass door from the safety of my kitchen. After I took these pictures, I went out to play too. Sooo much fun! We are expecting more on Saturday night. Then on Sunday we'll "spring" forward an hour. Nothing "Spring" about it, but I love the snow. Keep it coming.

For the young people, including youself, snow may be so wonderful. I like Keiko and Midori's smiles and Jack's length; Children's lying length made us realize how tall they have grown, don't you feel so?
I am thinking about going out and looking for the Easter cards but this weather makes me very reluctant to do so. For the time like that uplifting picturs these are!
